Philosophical Inquiry vs Religious Inquiry

My own view: religious way of enquiry is more diligent way because
Religion is the believe of supreme power and worshipping it as the creator and controller of the universe.for instance
Some of definition brought by different scholars out of which some of them are mentioned above go with Islamic views on what religion should be while some of them go against it.
Through normal and correct thinking one can philosophies which is the truth among All acclaimed religion,
Religion guide the intellect and illuminates it's way from darkness as it moves towards the metaphysics without religion man will just be wandering with his intellect that at times built a strong a strong reasonable fortress and at another time destroy what has been built,many verses of the Quran enjoin mankind to philosophies on religion Matter for them to get convincing acceptance of the revelation through intellect.

Philosophy emphasize critical thinking logic and intellectual exploration. Adaptable to diverse perspectives while Religion offers moral guidance a sense of community and answers rooted in faith Religion is best because it will comes with what Quran and Hadith says while philosophy from the other hand is not but comes with intellectual thinking.
Philosophy of Religion also includes the investigation and assessment of worldviews (such as secular naturalism)that are alternatives to religious worldviews.

philosophical inquiry: in philosophy the human mind is the only arbiter of truth and plausibility, therefore no external sources of revelation.
And also philosophy is concerned with using of reason and logic to explore question about the nature of reality, knowledge, ethics and existence.

In other hand Religious inquiry:is often based on revealed knowledge , such as religious text,or a prophetic's teachings that is accepted on faith.

In conclusion
Both of the two give humanity freedom of thoughts and reflection, except that some group of people that contented with philosophical inquiry may go astray with this freedom of pondering,and those who settle for religious inquiry will be guided from going astray because of their central rulling(religious text ).
as prophet Muhammad said
(تفكروا فى خلق الله ولا تفكروا فى ذات الله)
meaning: ponder over creatures of God and Do not ponder over God himself.

I think the religious enquiry is much better because
Philosophical Inquiry is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes articles, reviews, and critical notes in all areas of philosophy
WhileReligious Inquiries is a peer-reviewed, open access journal which is concerned to publish scholarly research articles on philosophy of religion, inter-religious relations, religious ethics, science and religion, theology, Qur'anic studies, mysticism, and other related issues.

Topics typically addressed by philosophical inquiry include beliefs ,actions,the meaning of life,and knowledge.
Philosophy and religion are related as theory and practice, philosophy renders religion more intelligeable by explaining it.Religion provides religious data to philosophy .Religion can complete the philosophical explanation of life.
Religion concern; freedom of religion or belief ,why its matters,Article 18 UN UNIVERSAL DECLARATION of human rights, adopted in 1948,states that everyone has the right to freedom of thought ,conscience and religion.
The purpose of the practice of a religion are to achieve the goals of salvation for oneself and others and to render due worship and obedience to God.

Religion offers moral guidance sense of community and answer in Faith religion is best .. because it will comerooteds with. what Moran and Hadith say Quran philosophy from the other ad is not. but comes Quran

Philosophy is not an ordinary word that should be just treated by studying it etymology only but it’s a branch of knowledge that centralized on the research about the reality of existence,nature ,eternity of the world and more speculatively not observationally , know this we should understand that this knowledge as it own  aims and objectives that it’s works towards before it’s been studied by numerous scholars during the ancient world as a branch of knowledge.
As it is been stated in the history, philosophy and it principles originated in the Ancient Greece during the sixth century B.C.E the first philosopher was Thales , the Greek philosophy reached its peak in the classical period because of philosophers such as Socrates, Plato,Aristotle and their disciples All this massive scholars have their massive contributions that they presented towards the critical question raised by man about the reality of the world ,purpose of mankind existence on earth ,other philosophers that came after them also came up with many modifications and reformations although all this contributions are not guided with the right thoughts of religion but it served some people in their province and became their source of evidence, because they tried to address questions and problems through logic and proof to support its claims , they find reason that support what they belief and they also believe what the reasons support .
 During the classical era many development came up to the Greek philosophy which later led to origination of western philosophy and later Islamic philosophy as well .the existence of religion to that of  philosophy before the of Christ is dispersed and very few , thus this caused the people to have more compliance for philosophy principles with  the way it’s solve their problems and ambiguities of life than religion.

Taking religion as one of the crucial activities mankind on earth that comprises the belief in supernatural power ,God/Goddess or the heavenly bodies, many determine their religion through their philosophical beliefs and knowledges ,since religion is not a dogmatic concept that is unquestionable, it do give space to ruminate, contemplate ,ponder and philosophize about what it brings but not extremely and speculatively as philosophy does , that’s where the interconnectivity of religion and philosophy came up.
Most Religion scholars adopted philosophy as an instrument of what been revealed through religious scriptures and teachings of the prophets sent , the truth all contains is permitted to be philosophized to verify it claims .Islam as an example is a religion that goes against dogmatism ,as no one can have the full understanding of Islam and what it brought without pondering before accepting it convincingly.
Henceforth for we to say philosophy and its principles are instruments for the Divined revealed religion to know the truth and verify it similarly Religion is also a guide for the way the instrument is been used to make inquiry about the existence and it reality ,nature ,eternity of the universe,afterlife,mind ,language, values ,world problems and ambiguities .this give man the opportunity to utilize this instrument to Philosophize about religion its teachings as it is been stated in the scriptures.
However we should adhere firmly that making our inquiry through philosophy mode is the best if doesn’t go beyond what the religion as warned us against philosophizing in them .
Islam warned us not to philosophize about the nature and existence of Supreme God (Allah)
The prophet said :
تفكروا في خلق الله ولا تفكروا في ذاته فتهلكوا

think about the creations of God(Allah)and don’t think about God’s self so you’re perished .
and things like five gaybiyyat ( knowledge about the day of resurrection, sending down of rain ,what the womb Carries ,what to be earn tomorrow and the land where death will be
Allah says in the Qur’an surah Luqman
إِنَّ اللَّهَ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَيُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي الْأَرْحَامِ ۖ وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْسٌ مَاذَا تَكْسِبُ غَدًا ۖ وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْسٌ بِأَيِّ أَرْضٍ تَمُوتُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ
‏Verily, Allah! With Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain, and knows that which is in the wombs. No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allah is All-Knower, All-Aware (of things).
Due to the fact that religion is not a concept of thinking or reasoning intellectually but it is a concept concept of belief and faith for we to have belief and faith without apostasy we need to live and make inquiry philosophically
We say it buoyantly that the Islamic philosophy also arose through this purpose particularly when there are many critical questions threw to Islamic scholars which this questions need to be philosophized before it is been answered if the religious mode of inquiry is enough to give sound welcoming answers to this questions,I don’t think their should be a need to was is been called Islamic philosophy
Conclusively I will connote firmly that the philosophical mode of inquiry satisfactorily addresses the fundamental problem of the universe such as existence,eternity of the world,afterlife,mind, language,knowledge and value so far it’s been guided with religion teachings and principles.

Religious inquiry, on the other hand, is primarily concerned with understanding the nature of God and the purpose of life through the study of sacred texts and spiritual experiences. The goal of religious inquiry is often to understand and strengthen one's relationship with the divine.

philosophical and religious inquiry. Philosophical inquiry is often driven by a desire to understand the nature of reality and how we can know anything about it. It is interested in how we can justify our beliefs, what counts as knowledge, and whether we can trust our senses and reason. Religious inquiry, on the other hand, is often motivated by a desire to find meaning and purpose in life. It focuses on questions of morality, faith, and the divine, and it often relies on revelation, scripture, and tradition.

It Is without saying that the two enquiry are of use in every human matters as the philosophy is looking for the intellectual reasoning and truth thinking about everything religious enquiry is looking for something similar but almost based on sacred things..

When we look into the Quran we will see different way of Allah's saying:

أفلا يعلمون
أفلا يعقلون
أفلا يتدبرون
أفلا يتذكرون...

Religion is one of the activities of Mankind on earth.each individual tends to believe in one thing or other.Religion is the service and worship of God or the supernatural

Religion and Philosophy are inseparable instrument for man to attain a great height in this world and in the hereafter. Philosophy assists in confirming the truth brought by the religion while religion assists philosophy from straying through rigorous intellectual works. Philosophy assists in knowing the true religion from the fake and false ones.
Likewise, religion assists in knowing the right thought from the wrong ones.
Without religion man will just be wandering with his intellect that at times, build a strong reasonable fortress and at another time, destroys what it has built. Many verses of the Quran enjoin mankind to philosophise on religious matter for them to get convincing acceptance of the revelation through intellect.
One can find the following points when comparing religion with philosophy:
- Religion is a divine science and philosophy is a human one.
- The way of religion is faith and that of philosophy is reason.
- Theology occupies a rank higher than philosophy.
- The knowledge of the Prophet is immediate and through inspiration and that of the philosopher is by way of logic and demonstration.
- An adequate and sure knowledge of God is the final objective of philosophy.

RELIGIOUS AND PHILOSIPHYCAL
MODE OF ENQUIRY aren't any where the same.
Religious inquiry are based on believe. As a religious person, you have to believe that everything that happened to you are according to God's plan.
As a Muslim, you have to believe in scripture and use reference of what has happened to people before us to judge recent incident!
Religion has already solve all problems and also gives solution to all calamity through the Hadith and Qur'an
Unlike philosophical inquiry that is a method geared towards arriving at the clear meaning, understand human nature and it's relationship to everyday situations.
For me, I will sincerely appreciate the philosophical method of inquiry. Because it give the opportunity to think intellectually without having the fear that you are over thinking.
Unlike the religious method which has engage us from thinking! It gives specific what you can think, and your thinking also has limit.

Philosophical inquiry and religious inquiry are two distinct approaches to seeking knowledge and understanding. Philosophical inquiry is based on logic, reason, and evidence, while religious inquiry is based on faith, tradition, and scripture. Philosophical inquiry is focused on finding objective truth, while religious inquiry is focused on finding subjective meaning and purpose. Philosophical inquiry is concerned with this-worldly issues, while religious inquiry is often concerned with other-worldly issues. Nevertheless, both philosophical and religious inquiry can lead to profound insights.

Firstly, I will like to define philosophy.
Philosophy is the knowledge of divine and human matters.
It is also a branch of knowledge that attaches important to the use of reasoning faculty and as islam it deals with understanding issues and finding solutions to problem.
What is Islamic philosophy: it is the Philosophical study of interpretations and knowledge derived from the Qur'an Hadith and other significant studies of teaching of Islam.

Muslim/Islamic inquiry primarily starts with divine revelation, primarily the Qur'an and Sunnah. It emphasizes interpretations of these texts and relies on the guidance of scholars and community.
Muslim inquiry: primarily uses scriptural interpretation, theological reasoning and scholarly discuss. It often emphasizes adherence to established interpretations and the authority of scholars.
It basically focuses on matters related to faith, religious practice, Islamic law and ethnics. It emphasizes understanding and applying Islamic principles to various aspects of life.
Lastly, Muslim inquiry provides a strong moral compass, community support and connect with religious tradition.
