Yes, the Quran encourages believers to reflect and use their intellectual reasoning. Numerous verses emphasize the importance of pondering over creation, life, and guidance. For example, in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:164), it says: "Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and [in] the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people... are signs for those of understanding."

Additionally, Surah Sad (38:29) states: "This is a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded."

These verses and others convey the Quran's call for believers to engage in thoughtful contemplation and intellectual reasoning.

Islam is a monotheistic religion based on revelations to the Prophet Muhammad some years ago, which were recorded in the sacred Quran (qur'an).
In Islam Sharia means ‘the path’ and it refers to the path that Muslims should follow in their life. It provides the guidelines and requirements for two types of interactions: Those between humans and God (worship); and those between humans to humans (social transactions). The main sources of Sharia are the Holy Quran and Sunna.
With these,we have to follow what Allah has sent down to us through His prophet(Muhammad) and put aside our own thinking because what does not go in line with detailed or just a brief statement (in the Qur'an) has been explained by the prophet.For instance:
Qur’an says: “ أقيموا الصلوة” ‘Establish regular prayers” but did not specify the time,when and how to offer it but the prophet explained this fully in his word.

I support the question 1 which says: Does the Quran invite us to think and use our intellectual reasoning to think ? Answer: yes in the Quran suratu nahl verse 44 says بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالزُّبُرِ ۗ وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الذِّكْرَ لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ﴾We sent them] with clear proofs and written ordinances. And We revealed to you the message that you may make clear to the people what was sent down to them and that they might give thought.}

Absolutely! The Qur'an encourages Muslims to use their intellect and reason to understand the message of Islam. In fact, the Qur'an repeatedly encourages people to reflect and think deeply about the world around them. There are many verses in the Qur'an that call for reflection and critical thinking, such as "And say: My Lord, increase me in knowledge." (Qur'an 20:114) So, the Qur'an definitely does invite us to use our intellectual reasoning to think!
فتعلى الله الملك الحق ولا تعجل بالقرآن من قبل ان يقضي اليك وحيه وقل رب زدني علما.

To my own view, I support the motion which says that the prophet has brought the truth from your lord, So why do you have to think 💭 and go astray.

Firstly in my point of view, Does your thinking changes or make any amendment  in both the  Quran and Hadith ?  If No so why did you you want to think and go astray.

Secondly  Allah says ( فا عر فو ني قبل ان تعبدوني و من لم يعرفني فكيف يعيدوني ).  This itself is enough for us to know that Allah don’t want us to be bothered confused by thinking about what is over our  intellectual reasoning, that’s why he said that, We should all know him before proceeding with our worship or religion.

And lastly Allah has guide us and put us through by showing us the lead through the ( IBADAH, SHER’IAH, ADA’B and so on ). Same has he explain and make clear to us all through the Holy Book 📖 Al-Qur’an and the Hadith.

So reasoning and thinking by anyone can lead   one astray.

As we all know that Quran is the only religious book which encourage you to think and there are several verses in the Quran in which Allah (SWT) order readers to think and analyze the thing around us because there many.

1.Q:10:101which Allah says قل "انظروا" من في السموات والأرض وما يغني الأيت والنذر عن قوم لايؤمون

2.Q:2:164,Allah say many about thinking in the Quran, so allah doesn't create us for eating, sleeping, etc but he crate to worship him and to think about what he create

The Qur'an is the main reference and source of knowledge for Muslims. It logically follows that understanding the concept of thinking should also be referred to the Qur'an. Even though the word 'intellect' is mentioned 49 times in the Qur'an, and there are hundreds of verses that urge Muslims to think, the theory of thinking from the Qur'anic perspective has not been extensively explored to guide Muslim educators, curriculum designers and developers. Hence, this paper attempts to explore the concept of good thinking from the Qur'anic perspective. It extensively examines verses of the Qur'an pertaining to the intellect and thinking to come up with a theory of good thinking. From the analysis of the relevant Qur'anic verses, the research found that the intellect is capable of rational and spiritual cognition as a result of applying critical, creative, ethical and spiritual thinking. Therefore, the research posits that good thinking from the Qur'anic perspective is multi-dimensional; the dimensions are critical, creative, ethical and spiritual thinking. Furthermore, according to the Qur'an, the aim of good thinking is to achieve wisdom. Hence, this paper also explicates the meaning of wisdom from the Quranic perspective.
